Adding a smartwatch to my Mobile contract

I am debating whether to buy a Cellular Apple watch 6 or just the GPS version. I intend purchasing outright but cannot find out whether there would be any addionla line charges if I link to my existing EE Iphone. Can anyone help ?? Thanks

@BuffyBear if you purchase the watch out right then to have it added to your account it will cost you £7 per month so you can have 10 gig of data on the watch.

Thanks Chris,,,, is that irrespective of whether I go for the Cellular version or just the GPS version??

@BuffyBear It’s only the cellular version. If you go everywhere with your iPhone you don’t need a cellular watch. I’ve only ever had the GPS version.

Brilliant. Thanks for the information. I was veering towards just the GPS version as would be very few times I wouldnt have the phone on me.
