Iphone 11 Warning message: 'Can't verify your iphone battery'.

I've read this warning is usually when a third party battery is installed. I've not touched it other than to charge the Iphone 11. Now it's showing 1% max charge and dies after a couple of minutes and reboots. Anyone else had this issue and quickest way to resolve it. My local EE store is closed due to the Lockdown. The 12 Month Apple warranty was up on the 16th.Hmmmm
