Am I able to buy an Apple Watch through my EE contract but gift to somebody to pair on an O2 iPhone?

@Steveparker74 You can but they will not get cellular data as they’ll need to set up a cellular data plan on O2 to have data. So that means you’ll being paying EE for the watch contract and they’ll be paying to have a cellular plan on O2.

Your other option is to get a watch only contract so they have a watch with cellular on EE but the watch will have it’s own phone number on EE but the watch can still be paired with the O2 phone but it will not ring when someone calls the phone if the phone is not with them. The name of this plan is the Family member plan and it’s the most costly option.

I’m happy to add the watch to my contract but she’ll be pairing it with a different iPhone currently on O2 not EE
