Hi,

My partner is wanting a new Apple Watch for Christmas and I have the access to get it as an additional line onto my account however he has his own contract would he still be able to use it without his phone being with him?? I don’t want to buy it and then be tied into a contract when it won’t work!

Welcome to the community.

If 4G and Cellular will be used then a data plan will be required which is £7 as the watch will not be paired to the phone on your account.
