@Mickarchie You could get a Yale camera like THIS you just have to give it power and a WiFi connection. There is an app you put on your phone and it’ll alert you if it picks up movement. You can even set zones on the camera so only a certain area/s will inform you of movement. These sell for around ££25 to 40 on eBay.

any camera you get will need a WiFi connection if you want notifications from it if it picks up movement.

you could get a camera that uses a SIM card but you’ll need to make sure there is data on it each month if you use it with a PAYG sim. You could get a contract sim for it but this is now starting to become an expense.

Am looking to get a security camera fitted inside the cab of our campervan looking out the windscreen, running on electricity while our van is parked other end of garden. Somebody set the alarm off the other night and want a bit more security. If poss to be wired through to the house to alert me. Does anybody on here know of a reasonably

Low-ish priced kit for this

Thank you. Sounds pretty good. Have marked it as solution, didn't mean to do that, can I remove it?
