OK thanks @FolaSonaike

Have you tried resetting the router using the button on the back?

Check that your router's Power light is on.

On the back of the router, you'll find the Reset button.

Use a paper clip or similar object to press and hold the Reset button for up to thirty seconds.

Release the Reset button.

Your router resets.

Let me know if it's any better after that.

Hi @FolaSonaike

Are you referring to it sleeping when it's not in use? Or are you saying it maybe faulty?

If it's faulty then claim under the Netgear warranty on the Netgear website.

Thanks

It does so when in use. It wasn't bought directly from Netgear, it was supplied by EE.
