Contradictory PAYG Free Boosts Info

1. In a user's PAYG MyEE it states:

What's a Free Boost?

Changing your Free Boost

Free Boost allowance options will change if you move between:

any seven day pack to any 30 day pack

any 30 day pack to any seven day pack

a 30 day pack costing less than £8 to any other pack

When moving between these pack types you will earn (should this read "lose"?) previously earned Free Boosts.

2. In the Help article What are EE Free Boosts? it sets out:

Important things to remember

Changing packs

If you change from a 30-day pack (£10 or above) to a seven-day £1 Pack or to a £5 Pack, or vice versa, you’ll lose any Free Boosts you have and will need to buy the required number of packs again to get another Free Boost.

Also, if you buy a 30-day £5 Pack and change to any other pack or vice versa, you’ll lose any Free Boosts you’ve earned.

Which is correct & which will be corrected to make both correct?

Thanks for letting us know.

The Help page looks correct, as moving to one of the packs listed would lose any earned free boosts.

I will ask the relevant team to get this looked into 🙂

I agree, @Leanne_T , the Help page looks to be the correct 1.

The MyEE page even contradicts itself within itself. It starts off stating your Boosts will change when you move between pack types but then ends on saying that when you do your Boosts will remain as previously earned.

Thank you, @Leanne_T , you confirm in Inconsistent Free Boosts information that info on Free Boosts in a PAYG MyEE has been updated to state that Free Boosts will be lost when you switch between the stated various types of pack to conform with the existing Help article.
