Overdoing the "We Use Cookies"

For the last few days the msg "We Use Cookies" / Accept is coming up far too often. I know you do! Once would be enough. Previously I hardly saw this warning, if at all.

Thanks for raising this - really helpful! If you don't mind, could you please tell us:

Does this happen only when you visit community.ee.co.uk or other parts of ee.co.uk too? If so, which URLs?
How often does this happen? Every time you hit the site or intermittently?
Could you please share some screenshots of what you're seeing?

For context, we're in the process of switching to a newer and hopefully better cookie consent management platform, so I imagine you're seeing some related teething problems. Your help with this would be really appreciated.

I don't go to main EE site much except MyEE, Help & Shop, but not noticed it there.
It was frequently intermittent when I 1st reported it but since a few hours later it seemed just only when I logged into the Community until a moment ago it appeared while I was already logged in.

Interesting that this coincides with you working on Cookie platform. Must be some connection.

That's great, thanks very much for the info @XRaySpeX.

I don't want to assume too much right now, but it looks like that's the old implementation which we're looking to phase out.

I'll chat more with the people who are working more closely on this and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it.

Now, since the New Year I think, the "We Use Cookies" & "Tell us what you think" pop-ups are getting worse.

XRaySpeX.. don't know if you were aware of it but I installed a Chrome 'app' called 'I don't care about cookies'. Since then I haven't had any cookie pop ups from websites as long as I use chrome.
