Why oh why is the performance of the EE app on Android so woeful or is it just me?

It doesn't matter which function I want to use it simply takes forever. I always go to the router homepage because I would rather avoid the eye-gouging experience of using the app at any cost however this isn't always possible....

For example, my eldest starts kicking off playing FIFA for the hundreth time, this is now an insta-blocked wifi offence. Except I've just spent nearly 10 minutes wading through the treacle , no TAR slow menu system. I've still not blocked him because the group I setup doesn't appear in the Groups section. so now I spend another 5 minutes waiting for the Devices section to load.

He's now blocked, he doesn't know he's blocked because it's taken so long to block him that he has gone out the house!
