old email address still being used

Occasionally ee wants to use my old email address for contacting me. How do I get it off the system? It already has my new address.

@StainlessSteelR you call customer support and tell them to remove that email address from their system.

Hi @StainlessSteelR

Please give our customer service team a call on 150 from your mobile and ask for the email contact in your account profile to be updated.
This is different from the email used for your online account.

If you have any old closed accounts with the previous email address, they may still be generating marketing emails. In which case those can either be updated too or simply have marketing switched off.
