You plan might be a Full Works plan which does allow free roaming in the EU & "further" but the "further" isn't the rest of the whole world. These plans only cover roaming costs in EU & EE's ROW Zone 1. Unfortunately for you the Philippines are within EE's ROW Zone 2.

You'll receive a Welcome text upon arrival at a country giving your roaming options.

As you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances in the EE ROW Zone 2 with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy the Zone 2 Pass for £8 / day or £40 / week. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/ > Philippines .

Just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

In Manila right now and I pay stupid amounts every month for my plan which includes free roaming around the world apparently I somehow have to pay for a pass since I got here. Ee is probably the worst

Welcome to the Community, @HFE19

Whilst certain plans offer inclusive roaming in the EU, and our Full Works plans also include some additional worldwide destinations, I'm afraid the Philippines aren't included in any of these options.

We would always recommend checking out our roaming pages before you travel, or sending us a text with ROAM to 150.

That way we can check you're all set up, and recommend the exact options available to you based on your plan.
