Why does the EE phone number on their website take me to o2 pay as you got top up service? The number is 03301231105. I need to speak to someone at EE but can't. Their service is even worse than virgin media's and that's saying something!

A quick check of Google shows that number has been used for Scams. Where did you get it? Easiest way to top up is using the EE app.

If you are calling from O2 PAYG and don't have any credit, it's probably redirecting any call you make to the O2 top up line.
