A bug in EE application with Scam Guard

Hello, I just found that when you want to upgrade a sim only tariff - it adds Scam Guard price 2 times.

On the video you can see that base tariff price is 17£, but if I add Scam Guard on the first screen it changes price to 18£ and then on checkout page it adds it one more time and final price is 19£

The base cost for the 500mb SIM only is £18/m, as can be found on our SIM only | EE page.
Which also matches in the video.

Can you tell me where it showed £17/m base cost?

When I remove ScamGuard - it shows 17£. And I am not complaining about the price. I am saying that it looks like app add scam guard price 2 times

Does the same happen if you log into the EE account online to complete the upgrade?

If you select a different plan, does the scam guard get added twice?

On the website it does not allow me to remove Scam Guard at all.

Again I don't have any problem with that just want to point that the app has an issue, and need to be fixed. And you unable to reproduce it on your side then this thread could be closed.

I'm unable to view the link you have sent to see what is showing in your EE app.

Could you send me a screenshot of the basket with the scam guard showing?

I will check this myself once I have the plan selected and see if the same happens 🙂
