EE often use OTP to authenticate your identity when calling CS. Unsure on the in-store process.

When you call EE they will verify you with either a text message to your number with a pin code (OTP - One Time Passcode) or with a password that you would have set up specifically for verification when calling EE.

Special instructions may also be able to be set up to require additional proof over the phone. As for in-store protection they may be able to add an instruction to always take an additional proof such as Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport) when accessing your account/transacting.

Hi @MyOwn

We do all we can to ensure your data is safe, so we will always use the OTP or password that @Matt_124 has mentioned, initially when you call.

If you visit a store they will reuire you to produce valid photo ID before they access your account.
