Link number not working on app

I am trying to link my phone to the EE app so I know how much data I have left. It’s saying it’s linked when I clink link device but then I go onto the app and it’s still coming up with saying please link a product to see you data usage, calls etc.

Did your phone receive confirmation text with a no. for you to give back to the app?

Yes, and then it said it was linked but still keeps asking me to link it. When I press link again it says number is already linked.
