How often does EE update their Online Shop

I often look through the store and notice that not much changes throughout the month, and prices always seem to stay the same, and the availability of products very rarely changes. So I am just wondering how often and when do EE add, reduce or take away products on the store.

The online shop can be updated throughout the month, there is no set time for this and offers and available products can change at anytime.
