Why is my SIM number connected to an email account that doesn't belong to me?

Why is my account and my SIM numbers connected to an email account that doesn't belong to me? When I use my email address to login, it's prompt my SIM number linked another email address and I can't changed it, that's make me feel confused.

But that's email even not mine. I don't have this email. Before I received a phone call from EE I used this email address to login. The phone call from EE said gave me more traffic at a lower price. Is it the real phone call from EE?

I haven't used it myself, @Xiayi. It may depend on the number you're calling. Have you tried the number on @XRaySpeX's post above?

You should be able to call UK 0800 & 0808 nos on Skype for free. Anything else will need a plan.
