I have received a call from this number 02922640354 claiming that they are EE agent from Cardiff. The person says EE is providing a 30% discount but I suspect it could be a fraud. Is this number originating from EE?

Just had the same call except with a 40% discount! When I asked why they didn't know how much my monthly bill was if they were from EE, the guy just said "err." I hung up.

The key question to ask any of these callers purporting to call "on behalf of EE" or "from the EE Upgrades team" - or other similar phrases - are they calling from EE directly or from a third party. Although not an impossibility, they will rarely lie to this question.

Another giveaway is to ask you what your monthly bills or plan is. EE would know.
