Gift data- App & Website issues

Anyone else having issues gifting data?I've been trying on & off for 24 hours to gift data to my children. The app and website say they have trouble connecting to the server and to try again or contact them. I'm currently 25 minutes into a supposed 45 minute wait to speak to someone.

I've even deleted the app and reloaded it, but still the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I gift every month to my daughter now it won’t let me

ive always been able to gift data but it appears the tab has now disappeared. ive no idea how to do it now, why did you change this

I think the My EE service is under maintenance at the moment, @Scott1969.

Could you give it a try a little later please? Sorry for any inconvenience.

I have the same problem.

It's happened several times in the past two months.

And effectsApp and website.

Not the best advert for a communications company

It took 40 minutes to get through. Luckily got it sorted but even then that call took around 15 minutes. The call centre blamed it on the new iPhone demand.

I rang customer services earlier and they told me an hour at about 11 o’clock.

It’s 15:30 and my daughter is without data and I can’t gift any. The customer service agent couldn’t either.

any ideas?

I can't transfer data whilst it under goes maintenance, hence the shared number on my account might incurr added costs, which I shouldn't have to pay for because your maintenance is being done during the working day. 😉

How annoying that when the app is down, as it currently is for “improvements” one cannot gift any data!! Perhaps that would be an improvemen, allow gifting whilst EE mess around with their app!!!!
