Name changed itself for gifting

Hi, phone seems to have glitches, when gifting data it doesn’t use my name but someone off my contact list, the people I can gift data too are correct. Why is this? Has it happened to others? How can I fix it?

Sounds like you have a duplication or a conflict on your Phones Contact List, so your contacts is the best place to start.

If it helps to resolve, on the EE App you can switch off the "Use phone contacts" for Data Gifting by going to Gift Data Menu then de selecting the Use phone contacts at the top. Or you can do the same for the entire App by going to Home Menu, Profile (Top Right / Person), Settings and Permissions, App Settings (scroll down), and finally to Sync Phone Contacts.

If you Login to use the MyEE from a normal web page it will also not show your Contact Names just the Phone Numbers.
