Unable to gift data

Hi the new app is terrible, just tried to gift my wife data and I am unable to, yes I could on the old app and yes I have enough data (120gb remaining). Really irritating as my wife only has a allowance of 3gb.

What happens when you try and gift data on the app?

Can you log into your My EE account online and gift data?

It doesn’t allow me to choose an phone number on app, even though the number is linked to the EE account. When I attempt to do gift data online all I get is a blank screen.
