@Dan6616 : To be to be able to gift data all nos. need to be under the same MyEE family a/c, not PAYG. See Gift Your Data and Set Controls .

I also cannot gift data to my wife who is on the same account to me and to which I have gifted data for last few years. This has happened since the app was upgraded.
annoying as currently away in Canada

any ideas when the app will be fixed ?

Can you gift data using your My EE account online?

Do you get an error message in the app?

Do you have the Roam Further Pass allowing you to use your UK allowances there? If not, has your billing date just occurred?

Yes I have the full ee package that includes usa, Canada etc

I travel a lot and never had an issue before.

my new day allowance day was 26th and actually use very little.

Thanks for coming back to us.

If your allowance refreshes while you’re away, you would have to wait until you return to the UK to be able to gift again.

EE. I have been trying to gift data to my son but haven't been able to for three days. It says there is a problem at your end. Can you advise please?

What error message do you get?
