Scam Guard removed - Now I can't make or receive calls

I received a messaged this morning advising that my Scam Guard has been removed.

Now my phone won't make or receive calls. I have restarted it multiple times and playing around with airplane mode. I don't have another phone to contact EE on and the message chat can't help me. Any advice please?

Are you up to date with your payments?

We have no account access here in the forums, so you would have to use someone else’s phone to ring customer service to see what is going on, as we have no way of knowing who you are.

This does seem strange that they would remove scam guard and you are not able to make or receive calls. Could it be that your SIM card is not working, have you taken it out, given it a clean and tried again?

Does the phone show signal coverage? What happens when you try making a call? Can you send or receive texts?

Yes, all up to date with payments. Messages work and everything else but my phone does not. They switched me on to a new tariff. I don't have a sim, only an E-sim.

Yes until i make a call then the 5G disappears and it says call failed. My messages are working fine as far as i can tell.
