Just taken out £13 package with EE. Voicemail was suddenly imposed by EE between yesterday and today, which means I missed important calls. After all, that's what a phone is for. It's a serious blip which should never happen and EE needs to deal with urgently. Anyway, I simply turned off my mobile completely and making phone calls in and out was reinstated. But had it not worked, what would have happened if someone needed to call me with an emergency? EE technicians please note.

I've just taken out the EE £13/month package. Between yesterday and today, EE has apparently imposed voicemail on me, which effectively blocks incoming calls. This is DANGEROUS, not just irritating, for obvious reasons. I've tried turning off the mobile completely and on again. This enabled one incoming call, but then the voicemail reimposed itself. PLEASE CAN THE TECHIES AT EE RECTIFY THIS SERIOUS BLIP IMMEDIATELY.

How does voicemail cause you to miss important calls?

I'm intrigued whether you also miss unimportant calls too, but that's another question.
