Stopping EE marketing texts

Hi, Can anyone advise how I can stop EE from sending marketing texts. How can I text EE ??

...and what about emails? The unsubscribe link in the only email I have doesn't work.

@Stonelaughter : EE does not provide contact by email. The unsubscribe email was probably just from this Community.

I’ve texted STOP many times to 2040 as ee text recommended but still getting marketing e mails etc

Is it only marketing e-mails you are getting? Any genuine EE email from us will have an unsubscribe button at the bottom to update your e-mail marketing preferences. Have you followed this to unsubscribe?

@Gene3 Texting STOP to 2040 will stop text marketing campaigns, though it can take up to 30 days from when you send the text to be fully stopped.

To stop e-mail marketing from us though you will need to click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of one of our marketing emails. That will take you to a page to opt out of e-mail marketing.

What about phone calls? I've blocked 5 numbers in the last few days and they keep calling and hanging up before I can finish the sentence asking them to stop.

Are these calls direct from EE, or do you think they could be scam calls? You can set your marketing preferences by speaking with our Customer Support team on 150.

the text was from someone who texts me before

why I am here why do I log in then get sent code

and if I open new window why waiting I have to do it all again 😡

No not scam I know the text who sent it the other was hospital very urgent call

I can't even text 2040, it says it's not supported! How on earth am I supposed to stop these?

If you're having trouble stopping these messages via text, there are a couple of other ways you can opt out of marketing texts.

If you head to our privacy centre, this gives you the option to manage all of your marketing preferences.

Alternatively you can also give our customer care team a call, and they can update things from our end, too.
