My calls alwyas state call failed until i delete cookies

Not sure if i have not ticked correctly or not

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

Internet cookies are not connected to your call service.

Is this when you're using WiFi Calling or an app based calling service?

As @Northerner has mentioned above, your cookies should not impact your ability to make calls.

Could you let me know what happens when you try and make calls without doing this @Kevin0401 and the steps you're taking to clear the cookies?

I delete the cookies then it normal is ok

i just did a call via what’s up and it failed and said your not connected to the internet

Even though I have unlimited data

Could you let me know what it is you are doing to delete the cookies @Kevin0401, as this doesn't seem like something that would be linked to your calls.

When you make calls using the phone app, and not WhatsApp, are you still having the same trouble?

It’s mainly when I call from the mobile to an o2 number, would it be because we share the same apple account

I delete the cookies via sarafi

@Kevin0401 What app are you using to make these calls ? Is it the phone app or what’s app ? These are two different services.

Ites from the nornal phone - dial

when i used whatsp earlier - it failed and stated not connected to internet

Both your phone & the mobile network treat all apps as internet usage, this is not a voice call in the same sense.

From EE's perspective, a call means using your phone's call dialler to make or receive from other numbers - NOT from other app users.

The only diagnosis can realistically be done here is to check whether EE are providing your phone with a working data connection - the test is to see whether other internet-based functions work. Can you browse web pages? Send & receive emails? Use other internet-based apps?

Hi all other internet based apps are fine

Think ive solved the problem - i had another number transfer over [ my old one ]. Ive now clicked to say inform all people that this line is dead and it appears to have done the trick

"call via what’s up" is not a call!
