Hi all, I have just received a call from the 0800 956 6000 number claiming to be a EE advising someone was trying to claim the upgrade on my contract. I advised I hadn't requested and the address supposedly was in another part of the country. When stating they were cancelling this request I then got a text message with the upgrade pin code which they asked me to read out, I refused and hung up. Can I check this is a scam and if so how they knew my address and last digits of my BAC?

Hi @Nutc1

Welcome to the community.

That number is our inbound sales number. I would recommend calling 150 from your EE phone to discuss this with our Mobile Care team. They'll be able to check if anything like this has happened and investigate who called you, if needed.
