My phone number recieves texts, but doesn't recieve verification codes.

My Phone number will receive texts from my family and some verification codes. but for one of the apps I use, the verification code won't come through?

They said it's a problem with my sim... Is that right and how should I fix it?

If you can receive person-to-person texts and some automated messages, then your SIM self-evidently has a connection to EE's network and can receive SMS. It tends to suggest a problem with that specific sender.

Which specific app/service is it that you can't receive from? When did you last receive messages from them?

The app is discord, I was in touch with their support and they told me to try and restart my phone (In which I did), reinsert my sim (In which I also did), or reaching out to your provider. In which I came here to see if anyone had a solution before I went into a store.
