Calls cut out after 5 minutes

I have started to have this problem too. Exactly at 5 mins the call gets cut off. I am in the UK using my EE sim. It happens when I am at home or when I am out.

The post you'd added to, concerned someone using their phone abroad and thus roaming. You're in the UK thus it's a different issue - I've moved yours to a new thread.

Is this a recent issue, and is it occurring in specific locations? Are calls to/from particular numbers or networks affected? Can you use mobile data whilst on calls?

Started about a couple of weeks ago. I can use my data fine.

Does this happen with more than one number? Also, is this both incoming and outgoing calls?

I also have this problem and it's been going on for a few weeks now. Seems to be every number and both incoming and outgoings calls.

Are they any ideas of what might be the issue?

Hi @George215,

Welcome to the EE Community

Are your dropped calls specific to one area or wherever you go? Do you have any other phones at home that you could swap your SIM into and test a call to see if it drops after 5 mins again?

This could help determine if the issue could potentially be SIM or phone related.
