Private Number Harassment

I have been for the past 4 days being called from a Private Number at all times during the day, night, morning, up to 50 times a day.

No voice mail is left and when I answer, the number hangs up and just keeps phoning.

I can't block the number as it's a private number.

Can anyone advise how to stop these calls please?

FYI you don't need to tag "all users", anyone using the forum can see your post.

Your phone may have an option to "silence unknown callers" where caller-ID is not presented, and at least should achieve the lack of a ringtone.

Otherwise persistent malicious calls should be reported to the Police on 101. They do have the ability to identify callers who withhold their number and take additional action.
