What’s app verification

Hi there I have been trying for days to verify a SIM card on what’s app but it just won’t work. I have sent messages and received messages but they are working fine. Please resolve this issue asap for me.

Could you please let us know a bit more about what's happening when you're trying to verify this number / SIM for WhatsApp?

Also is the SIM working as it should be for calls and texts otherwise, being able to both send and receive?

Hi Peter,

It keeps on saying to try again in 1hr, phones not ringing when they said a
call will come through and no verification code. I am receiving messages.

Thanks @Flawless01, is this a new EE number you're trying to link, or one that you've had for a while?

Are you able to receive phone calls on this number successfully too?

If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking to make sure that the number in WhatsApp is definitely correct as well.

Hi, I am not an EE Representative but I have had this problem many times over the years.

The problem is with the whatsapp client, most times it works but other times it does what you are describing. The fact you receive messages shows the problem lies with WhatsApp.

If you download WhatsApp business, sign up there you will receive your code. Then when you're done simply use WhatsApp basic and you will receive codes as normal. My daughter had this issue as did I always fixed it.
