Going straight to answerphone

Hi all,

When people ring me they go straight through to answerphone. My signal here is ok 3 or 4 bars. I can ring out ok. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi @zoomlyboomly

Deactivate voicemail (VM OFF ) and see what happens. Then reactivate (VM ON) and try again.

Also try restarting your device.

Does this affect all callers indiscriminately, or do, say, withheld numbers ring but recognised callers don't?

This is potentially consistent with a do-not-disturb being set, but test calling yourself from withheld before proceeding further.

Thanks for replying, my son ran me and he got through he is on O2, my wife rang me (she is ee) and it went straight to voicemail. This is with same settings and within 1 minute of each other calling.

The good old ' turn it off and on again' seems to have worked.
