RCS stopped working

Anyone else who’s RCS is not working? I have a IPhone 13 that is updated to IOS 18.2.1. I used to be able to text with my friend in France who is an android user using RCS, but now it has suddenly stopped. They are able to text me using RCS, but I can’t text them back with RCS only SMS. I made sure to check if my RCS was on and it’s still enabled. Is anyone facing a similar issue?

Do you get an error message when sending a message using RCS?

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling?
