      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am elderly and I have a little Nokia phone which I use to text and phone people. I am not able to connect to Wii Fi. I am going to Australia in October will I be able to use it there? &amp;nbsp;I am on a pay as you go contract. Thank you for any help you can give me.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes, you can use EE phones in Australia, but you cannot be on a "pay as you go contract". Using a mobile phone abroad is called roaming.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;PAYG is a pre-payment top-up based service where you can only spend the credit you have. Contract generally refers to a pay-monthly billed service where you receive a bill each month.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;PAYG phones are auto-enabled for roaming on first use in the UK, pay-monthly phones need to be enabled manually.&lt;/P&gt;
