Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

Otherwise you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

Thank you so much for the advice. We were told that our roaming accounts would automatically be activated once we arrived in Australia, and that we didn't need to anything. Will try your suggestions. But we have found it difficult to get in touch with customer services.Sent from my Galaxy

Hi @Burke28 I'd defiantly advise getting in touch with our customer services team so they can investigate why you can't use your roaming bundle, If you're having trouble getting in touch with our customer service team while abroad, you can use the Skype number to give them a call which is 00448000798586
