Hello,
I’m currently on a sim only deal which is coming to an end. I want to upgrade to a new iPhone next year but in the meantime I was looking for a another sim only deal. However they are all 24 months long, if after a few months I want to get a contact can I upgrade ok with no extra charges for being mid sim contact etc ? Thanks

You don’t need to look for a new deal as your contract isn’t ‘ending’, it’s simply coming to the end of it’s minimum term at which point it’ll become a rolling 30 day contract.

Keep it like this and when you’re ready upgrade to a contract with a phone, you’ll start a new contract at that point with a new minimum term.

If you have moved to a SIM-only plan from a phone-plan, then you are able to move back to a phone-plan anytime, there is no lockout or minimum-period.

Thus if your minimum-term on current plan is expiring, then simply let it continue - and when you're ready to upgrade back to a phone-plan, you can do so.
