iOS Android - Can't make / receive calls

I'm on iOS Android, monthly tips, I've not been able to make or receive calls for months. Everything else seems fine. I'm able to get signal, WiFi and mobile data work, not on airplane mode.

@ethangk iOS Android? iOS is iPhone Operating System.
Andriod is an operating system.

Are you on contract or pay as you go ?
WiFi has nothing to do with EE and will work on the device even if you take the SIM card out. Do text messages work? I don’t mean RCS messages.

When I try to make a call it says it's 'calling' but there is no ringing and the other persons phone doesn't actually ring. The attempt lasts about 20 seconds then disconnects saying an issue with mobile network.

When someone tries to call it doesn't ring or show for me, but they can leave a voicemail.

Can you send & receive text messages? When did you last top-up or make a chargeable call or text?

Yes, texts are fine both sending & receiving. My latest top-up pack was Monday. Unlimited calls, texts and 13gb of data (might have been 15gb).

Can you dial short-dial numbers such as 222 (voicemail)?

For incoming calls, check you don't have any "do not disturb" or unconditional diverts set.

No, same issue with ringing 222. 'Mobile network not available'. Even when I have multiple bars.

No diverts on, and 'do not disturb' is off too.

Try go into settings > network & internet and see if you can find a setting for VoLTE/4G Calling and check if it is enabled.

Also try and go into settings > calls and see if the option is there for the above and/or WiFi calling.

It may be that your phone is dropping onto 2G for calls which has reduced coverage compared to 4G in certain areas.
