Call problem

My phone has started doing this recently. I go to dial someone, it says it's dialling but there isn't any ringing noise then it just comes back out. My 89 year old mother tried ringing me yesterday and it didn't come through. The only way I have found to get it to work is to turn it of a nd turn it on again. I am using a Huawei p20 pro. Don't know if I need to change phones or dim as its quite old now.

Thanks for coming to the community.

I know how important it is to be able to make and receive calls, especially when we use them so much.

Are you finding that this happens on every call or are some working as expected?

Have you only noticed it happening in one area, or have you been in different locations?
