I have EE broadband, and had an EE mobile SIM on the £13 package.

Since
a) I was already paying 7.99 a month for google one
b) I was intrigued by the network priority / 5G SA offering (I have a iPhone 16 PM)

I decided to flip to the £22 package as it's only £1 more a month than above

I activated the google one fine, transferring my existing 2TB subscription.

However what I felt was missing from the documentation, and T&Cs was a warning that any existing subscription would not result in any pro-rata refund of the outstanding google subscription. I realise this is partly down to google, but changing between the plans they effectively do this by stretching/compressing days. I think it should be made much clearer in the documentation I've linked to.

Did I miss something? Is this made clear? Let me know if I simply missed it - my bad.

In my case I 'lost' 8 days worth (£2.07) so it's not huge BUT IT IS REALLY ANNOYING, especially when upgrading to a more expensive EE plan..

Thanks for coming here and sharing this with us.

I have passed this feedback over to the relevant team and they can take a look into this and what reflects on our EE help page.
