&lt;P&gt;Regardless of if you're on WiFi, if you answer an incoming call whilst abroad you'll be charged at the roaming rate. The only exception would be standalone services like WhatsApp or iMessage.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Incoming texts won't be charged, as you don't have any control over receiving these, but you will be charged for any messages sent.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When travelling, I will have Wifi at my location, Can i still receive Incomming SMS messages for FREE If I do NOT have data roaming and only use Wifi calling?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also will there be any charge for incomming calls as I will be on Wifi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;WiFi-calling is not supported abroad, but if it does work incurs normal roaming charges.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Data roaming simply means using mobile data whilst roaming - to make &amp;amp; receive calls (some could call this voice roaming) or send &amp;amp; receive text messages needs a mobile network connection. This is roaming.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Receiving texts is free globally.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
