Data only sim Roaming

I’ve a data only sim in my car to support the on board system and for the kids WiFi and have just entered the Republic of Ireland and it’s not working. It’s 120gb 12m sim, no contract or payg just paid for up front and over 100gb left on it…
up until this point I’ve used Vodafone (sorry for blasphemy!!!) as that’s what came with the car and it’s always worked whilst travelling in the republic before.
any advice?

Has this SIM worked abroad previously? When you say you've used VF previously, is that VF-UK, or VF-Ireland?
