Does your phone show network coverage? That's necessary to make & receive calls & texts.

If no, then you may have a local coverage issue. If yes - what happens when you try making a call?

I presume you're on PAYG and are in the UK - can you confirm.

If you text BALANCE to 150, what is the response?
