Calls restricted USA

my daughter is in USA. I bought a roam abroad pass before she left. Data roaming is working. Since arriving she has been able to make only one phone call home. Every other time she tries to call she gets a Message saying calls are restricted. I have removed her spend cap and she has switched her phone on and off. Can anyone help? Seems like she would have been better buying a sim on arrival if she can’t make calls.

Did your daughter receive a welcome text message on first arrival? Can she send & receive texts since?

Can your daughter put her phone into manual network selection, search for other available networks and connect to those. Are the symptoms the same?

She only received the welcome text today. She has been on looking to select a network manually but still has the same issue. I’ll have to check on text messages.

Situation is resolved. I called 150 and someone in the technical team was able to make an adjustment that fixed it. It was odd though as the data and texts should not have been working. Glad to have it resolved anyway.!
