Yep, Went to Turkey. Antalya. It was lovely.

But it wasn't cheap. I even paid extra for a data package that never worked.

@Greefy67 Did you enable roaming on your account? You do this by texting ROAMING to 150 before you leave the UK. Purchasing add ons doesn’t enable roaming these are different things. Enabling roaming allows you connect to a roaming network and purchasing an add-on gives you an allowance or the option to use your tariff allowance at that location depending on where you are.
