Hi James,

I'm having the exact same issue as the original enquiry.

I can send and receive text, but can't get calls to connect. It is showing "Calling" but just doesn't connect and sometimes shows, "Mobile network not available for voice calls."

This is happening in more than one location.

It's often easier to start a new thread, and link to any other post you feel is relevant.

Is this a recent problem? Can you use mobile data? Are you using Android or iOS? Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly? Do you know any other EE users locally, and are they similarly affected?

Thanks for your rapid response.
I've only noticed it in the last couple of days. I don't actually use voice
calling that much as I tend to use WhatsApp mainly for calls and texting,
so not sure how long it has been going on.
I did have someone tell me they had trouble calling me a couple of months
ago as it kept going to voicemail, and I couldn't make calls when I tried.
But switching the phone off and back on again seemed to solve it then but
not this time. I did have someone try and call my number and it is going
straight to voicemail.
I can send and receive text messages and the mobile data is working fine.
It's an Android phone but I don't know anyone else on the EE network.

Could you check your postcode on our network status checker please? It will let you know if you're aware of any problems in your area.

Please try using direct-dialled voice calls, see if you have any issues.

Is the error message you report, something that an app is giving you? Or that your phone's normal dialler shows?
