Dubai data roaming issues

I finally managed to get data roaming to work in Dubai. I paid 7:85 for 24 hours and after 5 minutes of using it, it ran out. Bought another 24 hours and same thing happened. So £15 for 10 minutes, this can’t be right and really frustrating as just can’t get through to any humans at ee. Does anyone have any ideas what’s happening?

Data is charged in Mb/Gb not minutes & seconds. the add-ons in Dubai are not for unlimited data but a finite (500Mb in Dubai IIRC) amount of data which is available for upto 24 hours, based on UK-time.

The logical assumption is therefore that you used your allowance in the timeframe you specify. Reset the data counter on your phone next time you purchase a data add-on, to be sure of this conclusion.

£8.45 for 500mb. Expensive and not much data which is both incoming and outgoing.
