Hi Chris. Im having issues with this hut to just my wifes number who is on O2. It is intermittent as well. If i turn my phone on and off it may work once then after that call failed. I can text, whqts app and whats app call with no issues. Any advice. Thanks

How long has the problem been going on for? Do you know if your wife has problems receiving calls from other users too?

Its been going on a few months now. She has no issues from anyone else and i also have no issues calling other O2 users. Thanks

WhatsApp is a messaging app which is handled by both your phone and the mobile network as data usage - it's not treated as a call by either. Thus all that proves is that your phone has a working internet connection.

Does your phone show VoLTE (Android) or 4G-calling (Apple) when calls fail? Do they always fail in a similar location?

Hi

Yes always shows 4g or 5g. I get the call fail just to her number. If i try someone else straight away it works no problem. Thanks

If you only have this problem when calling one number it sounds like this could be an issue with their service.

Has your Wife reported this to her network to be looked into?

That's not what I asked - you can have 4G without VoLTE (Android) or 4G-calling (Apple).

Having said that, if this is specific to one number, then a lack of VoLTE is not likely to be the problem.
