I have just been advised by EE tech support that EE do not have a call roaming agreement with Antigua, making my mobile phone useless when it comes to making calls to an Antiguan local number

This one needs a staff reply to confirm, but given the costs being available on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/antiguaandbarbuda - my suspicion would be a mistaken advisor.

Are you in Antigua currently? Try connecting to both local networks if so.

If not, it would be interesting to know if multiple CS agents advise the same.

Yes I can make calls to UK numbers.When I make a call to a local Antiguan number the call drops as soon as it is connected. Kind regardsGary *******

If you are connected to an Antiguan network and are able to call UK numbers, you are roaming.

Have you checked for an international call bar being present on your account? This could potentially explain an inability to call international numbers.

This is an account-level setting configurable within your myEE online account/app - not just a phone setting. The phone menu is only an additional control if the master control is enabled.
