A friend is coming from Spain to the UK, will it cost me to call his +34 number while he is in the UK?

I don't have any international call package.

Yes, you will be International Calling a non-UK no. 22p/ min on contract or 18p/min on PAYG.

Ironically enough, and depending on your friend's package, they may be able to call you much cheaper. Also consider the £2 international add-on, which reduces costs to 8p/min on pay-monthly.
