I need an 0800 number to contact me, but when they try to ring it cuts off ? No number is blocked on my phone etc please help as its important

Most 0800 numbers are just a presentation number for an underlying landline. When you say "it cuts off", do they not reach your voicemail or suchlike? If the caller's line goes dead, that would suggest a problem at their end.
